I think BJs first task will be to get together a 'think tank' and analyse seat by seat the likeliest outcome.
Also the possibility of a deal with Farage will be considered.

No? Well ok i may as well stay here then & start planning a 38 billion spending spree. Toodle pip

The first thing Boris needs to do is lay down the law to any traitorous civil servants, make them aware where their loyalties should lie. Half of those bastards have availed themselves of the EU gravy train for far too long.

Boris is away for 6 weeks holiday on Thursday and when he comes back he is going to sort out a deal with Europe in 4 weeks that took 2 years to complete, and then he is going to sort out the norther ireland border problem in the same 4 weeks that took 300 years to sort out.Shocked

Boris’s first call to Barnier should be four short words, then hang up.

Brassie you miss the point. All the negotiations are done BJ will be looking to tweak them in our favour.
The border issue is simple. Whatever happens it cannot be allowed to drive a wedge between NI and the rest of the Union.

Jeremy is unelectable.
Everyone knows that. The sight of Labour backbenchers calling for his removal should have seen him resign but Jeremy only cares for himself.

Corbyn has many obvious failings, but I wouldn’t call him particularly frail physically. He looks in pretty good shape for his age to me.

Anxious, do you not realise that throughout history the type of government you advocate has utterly failed with disastrous consequences every single time it has ruled anywhere in the world?

I would hazard a guess that is what “frightens them.”

The left are very adept at spending other people’s money. Not so good at anything else.

Were we to wipe the slate clean and start again, within a few years the same people would have the money and power again. That is simply the fact of the matter.

lower corp tax means little if the people have less to spend where they might wanna invest.
it also would mean less tax generated.

wto means we have low tariffs for all but if you lower them too much then you become vulnerable employment wise to countries who can produce much cheaper....china and india spring to mind.
no wonder why dyson wanted brexit.

he sets up shop abroad so he can produce abroad and then export to the uk.

youve been done up like a kipper...excuse the pun

Not when he cuts corporation tax they won’t. Frankfurt and Paris cannot compete if Boris decides to play hard ball.

Nobody can compete with London, all that will happen is that there will be piddly little offices in Paris or Frankfurt for compliance purposes.
Britain is still by far the easiest country to do business out of the big players in Europe &
I'm sure when we leave we can really open up the playbook!

Good luck with that!

Just thought i’d bung this one in on a political thread.
Multiple choice question.
Which party leader said the following?
“Leadership is about listening.”

BJ, JC, JS?

It was JC, was it not? BJ suffers from a delusion of grandeur.
