Very good speech imo and unlike the stuttering robot before him, was actually quite believable. Let's hope he is allowed to deliver.

a great speech, pmsl, the only thing he hasnt promised is to cure cancer, maybe he's doing that in his spare time? he's going to replace the police officers he helped get rid of, what a guy. anyone who claims there is £39 billion to spend is nothing but a charlatan. he's on some serious drugs and has set himself a high bar of achievements which he will likely fail at spectacularly.

He also came across a bit more serious with it. The show buffoonery he can put on was nowhere to be seen. An upbeat appraisal of where this country can be. Let him try and deliver.

he needs to be realistic, leaving the eu involves compromises, he is still portraying an image of a country that can do whatever it wants. this is delusional nonsense.

I don't think it was all rosy for the  UK from him to begin with, if we left with a no deal, however delivering the referendum result is of paramount importance, and I agree. Having no deal on the table, may or may not get some further concessions to get the deal over the line. Either way, the EU had the luxury in their previous negotiations without it ever looking a possibility. We'll see.

It's getting out of the EU that is the problem Bap. Too many in that house that won't honour the referendum result and will do owt to stop it. If he fails to deliver it, and I hope he doesn't, where can he go??

no deal; & sack anyone in the Cabinet who doesn't agree. Then get the chief whip to remind all dissenters their job is on the line & you will see the mice squeal

hundreds of MPs from both sides of the house will lose their jobs if there's an election before brexit is sorted. that should concentrate minds

in 2018 patel was forced to resign for running her own foreign policy 'i fell below the high standards that are expected of a secretary of state' and now she may become a more senior secretary of state.

By:

When: 24 Jul 19 19:03

Nothin wrong with a big arse.

Such a beautiful song, I want it played at my funeral.

she conducted her own foreign policy and went to secret meetings with a foreign government, that potentially left her open to blackmail by them. this isnt a minor infringement it is a major error of judgement by her.

The BBC seemed to have a vendetta against Patel, they almost broke out in a party when she eventually went and another vocal leaver was pushed out.
By:
jollyswagman
When: 24 Jul 19 19:06
she wont be welcome by lefties and anyone who thinks government ministers should stick to their own area and not undertake secret meetings with foreign governments.
