Imo the quality began to wane when Sir Jeremy Issacs left the channel.

Their news and current affairs content is heavily biased against their native audience. People will tire of being relentlessly hectored by the likes of Jon Snow, and cease watching.

A couple of weeks ago a centre right party took control away from them. C4 news I presume gave it a minutes coverage if that? (I flicked over a few times to their awful program, didn't catch them covering it and when I looked the downfall of their marxist heroes wasn't even a story on their news website, not a word!!!).
