Bild today had the same refugee story from yesterday on their main page. 5 days in a row now they've had a refugee story above the fold.
Two other newspapers had similar stories, one with Interior minister Seehofer demanding better border checks and another that i don't remember. Hopefully this gives you an idea of how the newspaper coverage is in Germany. As you can see, when something happens, it is reported on the main page. |

Just because there are nutters about I still believe we have a right to know what's going on. It's not right someone like Ashitha Nagesh can just slip back into society after only five years. Just one example.

That's certainly up to debate, but that's apparently how your justice system works. For everyone. The release of Mubarek Ali (Ashitha Nagesh is a female journalist who wrote the metro article you linked to) release was an automatic one that is triggered for all convicts apart from specifically excluded cases.
It's not something the authorities try to get away with. From what I understand, the relevant law about automatic release had already been changed by the time of his release to include convicts such as him, but didn't apply to him yet because it wasn't there at the time of his sentencing. |

Obviously "Ringleader released 17 years early" is a lot better than "Ringleader released perfectly according to the law after having served half his sentence. Law has since changed to not automatically free people like him anymore" |

If it can be proven that he committed more crimes than convicted of i.e raped just 1 more young teenage girl what would happen then?
From reading about these cases only a small fraction of rapists have been arrested and convicted compared to the number of actual rapes committed. Hopefully someone comes forward and puts this scummy dirty shytebag back where he belongs. |

It's no wonder there's no fear of the justice system. I accept legally he/she is probably right. It needs changing. Too many care more about the perpetrators. Makes me sick. |
