I haven't seen any more details about this case but I will be curious when the facts come out.

Does this mean that the woman went to the police ten years after the 'assault' because maybe he patted her bum?   All these women going to the police ten, twenty, thirty years after the 'assault' when it would be very difficult if not impossible to prove.  Why not report it at the time?  There should be a time limit to report assault cases.

It isn't 'probable' at all, Denzil.  I have read umpteen cases where they have reported the 'crime' years, decades after and admitted that they did not report it at the time, saying that was because they were 'traumatised'.  What for thirty years?

Your eagerness to defend Leslie seems worrying to me I'm now sure of the opinion he's been at it for years and has been dodging bullets left right and centre probably being protected for one reason or another who knows why.

Not correct PP. The verdict was Not Proven which is a verdict peculiar to Scottish Law. He claimed outside the court 'without a shadow of doubt' but that is at odds with the verdict.
Incorrect to say the tv evidence proved his innocence as it in itself was inconclusive. 2 witnesses, a friend of the accuser and a dfriend of Leslie, gave conflicting evidence.
