so the next time someone tells you that you can not double a quid 20 times in a roll up(million to one chance),ask him how he beat the 400 trillion to one chance to be born.Laugh

If you are alive then the odds of you being alive are a certainty.
Report ----you-have-to-laugh--- July 6, 2019 12:20 AM BST
yes leopard, its aftertiming

same as a £10 roll up on every tennis winner , football match, and horse race today would pay huge odds, but
they happened

TED TALKS /San Francisco /Mel Robbins talks about the odds of being born.
Report Reynard July 6, 2019 12:48 AM BST
Before I was born I took 7/4 about my future existence . Looks like I took well under the odds given the returned SP .
Maybe I should re-think my theories relating to 'value bets' Crazy
Report Reynard July 6, 2019 12:55 AM BST
Also had it in a double with being called 'Mohammad' @ 10/1 but I got delivered to the wrong post cose so that fk'd that up Sad

I wish we could put a bet on us being born I would have a quid on

400 trillion pounds!
Report Nebs July 6, 2019 3:35 PM BST
Getting the bet on is easy. It's getting paid if you win thats the problem.
Report Foinavon July 6, 2019 6:56 PM BST
The odds about you dying one day are much shorter.
Report conditor July 6, 2019 6:58 PM BST
How short?
Report conditor July 6, 2019 6:58 PM BST

Seeing as you won't be around to collect you could probably name your price.
Report Foinavon July 6, 2019 7:03 PM BST
There is a transferable bet though, it's called life insurance. How ironic.

Plenty of peasants of man is that not true Fionavon?

Salesmen are there to sell the dream, it makes the money go round.

If the odds of being born are 4 trillion to 1 and the population of our planet is 8 billion then logic determines that there is a total of 3200,000,000,000,000,000,000 people that don't exist ScaredCrazy
Report Foinavon July 6, 2019 7:46 PM BST
Just like lotteries and FOB machines.
Report Foinavon July 6, 2019 7:47 PM BST
People that might have existed but didn't.
Report Reynard July 6, 2019 7:49 PM BST
And that doesn't include those that didn't exist before the 8 billion that are currently existing Cool
Report Just Checking July 6, 2019 7:54 PM BST
The 3200,000,000,000,000,000,000 were killed by the illuminutty using death soundwaves from ZX Spectrum loading screens. Icke says so.
Report Foinavon July 6, 2019 7:57 PM BST
And those who missed out because their potential parents were watching Coronation Street instead of getting on with it.
Report Reynard July 6, 2019 8:00 PM BST
Didn't David Icke once claim to be a born again christian or was it the Son of GOD ?
Given the odds of being born once the odds of being born again must be 16,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 1 Shocked
I reckon there's a greater likelihood that he is indeed the Son of God Excited
Report Foinavon July 6, 2019 8:44 PM BST
Jesus Christ Almighty.
Report Reynard July 6, 2019 8:46 PM BST
I'm guessing he was 4 trillion to 1 , the same as us mere mortals Devil
Report Foinavon July 6, 2019 8:52 PM BST
It begs the question, did God introduce only one sperm cell into Mary or the billion or so usually released? If the latter, there are a billion JCs who never were, if they claim the former then how do they know?
Report mouse muldoon July 6, 2019 8:53 PM BST
Shame it only goes up to 1000 on here.
Report mouse muldoon July 6, 2019 8:56 PM BST
And with the bookies limits being half to one million you'd have to somehow get fractions of a penny on these bets to avoid wastage.
Report Just Checking July 6, 2019 9:13 PM BST
Childbirth and betting wins have a lot more in common than you'd think, they both start with someone getting laid.
