Here we are, in the early stages of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Building machines that demonstrate increasingly intelligent behaviours, whilst simultaneously offsetting this with increasingly unintelligent human behaviours.

It's taking the carbon offset principles in to an area where they have no place Cry

We have never had a choice about a European fedral state,an claim that has often been dismissed by our politicians yet gets more ingrained with each treaty that has been signed. Maastricht raised concerns about this but Major denied us a say on the issue, Blair campaigned in 1997 promising a referendum on the issue but reneged on that when in power to push the Lisbon treaty, hoping to become EU. Cameron only yielded a referendum after the 2014 EU elections, hoping to lance a boil that wouldn't go away. No wonder TBP refuses to acknowledge an anthem that seeks to promote more deceit.

I support Brexit and find this sort of rubbish childish and petty, it's the sort of sad risible thing the children in the SNP always do and the Brexit party should be above it if they are trying to act as serious politicians. If you find yourself acting like the SNP you should know you are doing something wrong.

Just saying sitting would be imho reasonable but going to the length of standing and turning their back .. nah. And the libs of course try to compete with them in the student protest stakes with their T-shirts.

What a sad state of affairs.
Report Just Checking July 3, 2019 3:39 PM BST
Also they should know by now, never turn your back on the EU as you'll end up with a knife in your back Wink.
Report Whisperingdeath July 3, 2019 3:40 PM BST
I would agree that sitting through it would be a fair enough response.
Report conditor July 3, 2019 3:40 PM BST
Fair comment JC ,what would your stance be on a bubble that thinks it won’t be burst?
Report Just Checking July 3, 2019 3:45 PM BST
Bubbles don't think, so it's hard to have a strong opinion on their belief system.
Report conditor July 3, 2019 3:56 PM BST
As I said ,I agree with your comment, childish, but sometimes you have to turn to dramatics ,because your point won’t be listened to during the normal democratic proceedings

Green Party MEP complained when he was asked to leave the Parliament.
Was wearing a T shirt sporting a pro migrants message and a football cap back to front.
Don't think many British MEPs have much respect for the EU.
BTW why do they have an anthem? They aint a country yet.

You are kidding yourself if you think supporters of TBP are all conservatives WD, plenty of Labour constituencies vote for Brexit lad. Our 3 MP's all represent Labour seats but wouldn't dream of seeing a tory get elected.
Report Just Checking July 3, 2019 7:55 PM BST
According to the Express (Britains foremost user of CAPS in newspaper HEADLINES and princess Diana DEATH stories!!), the "hopelessly devoted to EU" SNP didn't respect the anthem either as they are p1ssed off their Catalan separatist buddy MEPs weren't sitting as there is some hassle with Spain allowing them to do so LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh. Can someone supply a link to the time she asked the SNP MPs the same question about Westminster.
She's not biased according to her supporters so I'm assuming she did.

Only reason they were able to turn their backs was Theresa May lying over a hundred times.

If they lived in a democratic country, they wouldn't be there.

One event defines the entire democratic process of an entire nation state, really ?
That is precisely the kind of intransigent thinking that prevents solutions being delivered.
