just been on tv they've made a film of local brewer Vaux about its closure 20 years ago

Only reason Scotch was ever drunk was cos it was cheap

tuppence a pint more for exhibition....no wonder lager took off, except in vauxland

pub close to me sold the best IPA 80 bob in middesbrough,sunday dinner time they,d have a 100 half pulled pints on the bar waiting for head to settle,ready to fill up and all would be gone in mins,back in the day
