Stupidity got me a fortune from gold.
Well a fortune for me. Bought gold sovereign and £5 coins from the Royal Mint in the 90s and early 00s. Didn't realise the mark up but hey ho gold prices shot up. Cant remember all the BPs but got a Db sov, sov and half sov set for £425. |

I keep meaning to buy gold... But at the risk of appearing the only forumite who is paranoid (
) I don't like the idea of ordering online and then appearing on their customer database of "people who have bought gold" .. waiting to be leaked/stolen/sold on to bad 'uns!More realisitic fear than most of the crap, given how often companies seems to lose control of their databases these days. Just the other day I started getting spam that was very obviously related to a shop I use once about 10 years. |
