I never got into them IS but isn't that what is so fantastic about music, it's diversity, a place for all of us to go and enjoy.

Like the chemical brothers. I just checked (!) the excellent "Go" only got to 46 in the charts. Just shows you how utterly sh1t the charts are these days.

I just love mr brightside and human, masterpieces. Not a band i would buy every album btw. Im sure you will enjoy mr brightside when he rocks the place at the end boxing.

I got a chromecast 2 yrs ago so listen to all this stuff on my TV far better sound quality, would deffo recommend.

The flag think is maybe indicative of an aspect in modern society, a huge desire to constantly signal your "thing" to people?
I'd feel very selfish even holding a flag up that was blocking others view for a couple minutes.
I've been to a number of festivals and it never happened when I was going? It just seems very selfish.

TBF fair I suppose a good number of the flags are on very tall flagpoles which will help but certainly not all are. The cameras are moving around but if you were stuck behind one of the lower ones .. I suppose they have TV screens but ..

The Killers did exactly what they were meant to and blew the place apart.

No political messages, not a stab vest in sight, no self-aggrandisement: just two hours of blistering tunes. Wheeling out Johnny Marr was the coup de grace even if he looked slightly out of place and rather awkward. An even the Pet Shop Boys were ace and that's not something I thought I'd be writing when I woke up yesterday morning.

as much as the young guns harris/tiesto/guetta/avicci have some decent tracks for me none iconic such as hey boy-hey girl, born slippy or amnesia, or maybe its just an age thing!! can see stormzy as a performer but couldn't catch the lyrics at all
