That's not very civil. I would try to reiterate my question about him wearing his uniform but I suspect you will never answer it, even if I did.

Probably not the full story in the mail.
As Oscar says about the truth. If he had been a good employee he’d probably have got off with a warning. The official line.... An Asda spokesman said: 'We would never comment on individual circumstances. 'However, we do not tolerate any form of discrimination from colleagues or customers and take such behaviour extremely seriously.' ... so if he had been equally offensive to Hindus, Sikhs, Zoroastrians and atheists (non-exhaustive list)? They’d still have sacked him. Personally i’d sack anyone who used Facebook. |

Would be tough for the forum to decide what to do if the guy was a labour voter who posted some Jewish conspiracy content on his facebook and then some of his Jewish colleagues saw it and complained.
![]() Not sure I agree in general with social media policies for plebs who work on the tills or in general for the lowest level of worker at least, even for dumb racists. |

The guy from Asda clearly has no racial issues he can laugh at anyone just like other well balanced people.

When I read the 'survival of the fittest' comment, I took it to mean 'be a good slave and toe the line or you'll be killed'. That's why I asked if it's a veiled threat.
If Asda guy can be legally sacked for something so ridiculous then we should all be worried. |
