He is obviously lying about the armed part. He knew exactly what he was doing. But he lied about the knife or armed part because he knew it would fit.
If he genuinely thought she was armed, hed have tackled her harder instead of escorting her out. he should have punched her a couple of times and thrown her on the floor, checked her for weapons, called security, and then apologized. Instead he acted like an idiot in front of cameras, should have known better. But it still wouldn't make him guilty if charges were made against him. |

I didnt like Field"s actions, I don't buy his story and I really didn't like the fact nobody there stood up and told Field to calm down and behave like a decent human being.

I have just watched the clip again and I think he acted properly.
The lone woman was a deliberate act by them as they said afterwards as the main protesters was a cover for her to approach the man who could be prime minister soon. In the clip most of the people there were watching the main bunch of protesters and she had a clear field to jeremy hunt. Mark Field was about the only one who saw her and realised the danger she could be. She could have been a suicide bomber for all he knew. Unlikely I know but stranger things have happened. |

Even if there was a chance she was carrying a nuclear device he did the right thing! Don't be dumb. Was she carrying acid, a ruck sack? she might not have been wearing knickers for all we know! First would be that all protesters must be naked so as to be clear they are not carrying any weapons. |

Steady on. I live in the Medway Towns. If you have been out on a Friday or Saturday night you'd be all from imposing the Burqa! I have seen some horrific sights and been traumatised by them! I have to admit to even sleeping with some of them although to be fair when I did they looked like Marylin Monroe but when I woke up they looked like Miss Piggy! |
