Early thoughts but Lady Kaya in the Commonwealth Cup - looked all over the winner at 6 furlongs in the 1,000 Guineas and think the step back in trip will suit and Kipling in the Chesham - by Galileo and the step up to 7 furlongs should see him reverse form with the winner of the 6f maiden at the Curragh on debut.

New Graduate in the Hunt Cup. Only had four races in its life. Hosed up first time out on good ground from a host of subsequent winners, acts on heavy.
Disclaimer: I don't recall picking a winner at Royal Ascot since Import won the Wokingham in 1976. Still, law of averages and all that ... |

LE BRIVIDO (QUEEN ANNE STAKES) TUESDAY
Forget it`s two runs this year when it fell out the stalls on both occasions but finished well after being well behind throughout. O`Brien has it spot on for this race and is now only 5/1 now from double figures. Provided it comes out the stalls and Moore doesn`t have it way behind, it should prove very hard to beat. |

UPDATED 4:07PM, JUN 11 2019 Sheila Lavery has been left "absolutely heartbroken" by the death of stable star Lady Kaya. The County Meath trainer, who announced the news via Twitter, revealed the 1,000 Guineas runner-up broke a leg at home on Tuesday morning. The three-year-old put up a valiant front-running performance behind Heromosa at Newmarket in May and was as short as 8-1 for the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot next week. Lady Kaya was purchased by Lavery's niece, Joanne, as a foal in 2016 before buying her back in when the bidding faltered at €12,000 at the yearling sales the following year. Her Newmarket success had been just the latest in a string of promising displays, including a runner-up performance in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes as a juvenile last season and a Group 3 victory at Leopardstown in April. |

That's tough luck Ronnie.
My banker for Royal Ascot is that the queue for the cubicles in the gents toilets will be largely comprised of those having a few lines as opposed to wanting to take a dump. I went 2 years ago and everyone seemed to be on the gear! |
