Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump is in Alberta Canada. Got to be one of the most unusual.

"In Blackfoot, the name for the site is Estipah-skikikini-kots. According to legend, a young Blackfoot wanted to watch the buffalo plunge off the cliff from below, but was buried underneath the falling buffalo. He was later found dead under the pile of carcasses, where he had his head smashed in."

The whippersnapper was no doubt taking a damned selfie, I'll wager.

Truth or Consequences  New Mexico,I only know this by watching a true crime programe.

Originally named Hot Springs, the city changed its name to "Truth or Consequences", the title of a popular NBC Radio program. In March 1950, Ralph Edwards, the host of the radio quiz show Truth or Consequences, announced that he would air the program on its 10th anniversary from the first town that renamed itself after the show; Hot Springs officially changed its name on March 31, 1950, and the program was broadcast from there the following evening. Edwards visited the town during the first weekend of May for the next 50 years. This event was called "Fiesta" and included a beauty contest, a parade, and a stage show. The city still celebrates Fiesta each year during the first weekend of May. The parade generally features area celebrities such as the Hatch Chile Queen. Fiesta also features a dance in Ralph Edwards Park

Here in Norfolk we have a village called Drake's Bottom. In actual fact there's really two villages. If you live south of the river that runs through the village you live in Lower Drake's Bottom and if you live north of the river you live in Upper Drake's Bottom.
