World Leaders sometimes have to meet all manner of malodorous dictators. It's a part of the job. Particularly when weapons of mass destruction are involved. Hence Trump's sensible meetings with North Korea's leader, and chats with Putin.

Corbyn meanwhile had the opportunity to meet Trump at last night's banquet, but declined the opportunity. Alas he has not yet seemingly found the courage to say why.

Corbyn did of course manage to attend the banquet in honour of the Chinese President, that well-known supporter of the Human Rights of his own people to be detained permanently in prison camps.
