there is a very political incorrect sketch in one of the fawlty towers episodes its when the general is watching cricket at the oval with his ladyfriend posting what was said in the sketch now would be considered a hate crime so i am TOO AFRAID TO SPEAK ABOUT IT IN PUBLIC
|

By:
Indeed Duke, and needless to say, the offending sketch had to be cut from a BBC screening a few years back, in a sublime example of rewriting history.

As I recall Fawltey is horrified by the Major’s use of language.
So is Cleese racially aware back then. C.1978? |
|
By:
What was regarded as poor taste then is now regarded as a hate crime.
Which shows how far we've gone down this slippery slope. The idea that showing you don't like someone because they're different to you should be a crime, is a crime in itself. |

Well they've gagged the politicians, media and anyone else in the public's eye. Not to mention the council workers who can be dismissed for expressing an opinion. The council that denied the UKIP couple a chance to foster a child over their membership in UKIP under Farage, was a case of persecution for political beliefs. That's how bad it is now. |

![]() Sad Khan hit back at Cleese saying London's 'strength' is its diversity. They certainly thrust those knives with some welly.. |
