I'm not refusing to criticise it, I think it is genuinely bonkers but so is Christianity or Hinduism imho.

Christianity or Hinduism are not existential threats to western democracy though are they? If Christians or Hindhus had been responsible for 34,000 terrorist atrocities since 9/11 you might be able to draw some kind of equivalence.

You want to be a good Christian then you follow the example set by Christ – Hippy.

You want to be a good Muslim then you follow the example set by Muhammad – whoops !! - Pumped a 9 year old, beheaded 900 Jews and took s e x slaves … That might go some way toward explaining the problem.

Islam to its core is totalitarian and political just look at the way it is implemented in Islamic majority countries worldwide, no tolerance of minorities.

I wasn't drawing any such equivalence. It suits you to make people one homogeneous group rather than
the reality of a heterogeneous group. Simple minded thinking for simple minded people.

I'll say it again. Islam is an ideology, Muslims are people. As such I recognise they come in a variety of different stripes. Merely highlighting the problem posed by the navigation of Islamic texts.

Pitiful.

Lux. As full an answer as I can provide, and which I hope will explain my views. You might want to read it fairly quickly, my posts tend to be removed quite often.
Not that they are remotely important.

Demographic change worldwide has always been a concern for the people who consider their land is being "invaded".

When however, it hasn't been invaded (see 1930's Germany) and the "Invasion" scare is propagated by would-be politicians and people online (a new bad medium for such problems), who make "concerns", I fear for society. Not for the issues caused by demographic change - which may not be actual change, but awareness of differences - but for the issues caused by "soldiers" who given the opportunity will do exactly the things that people are worried about the perceived enemy doing.

Causing division - which incidentally positive discrimination does as well, is not a cure for anything.

The divisive nature of this forum is indicative of quite a bit of society as a whole. It always happens when people are suffering or skint, or in some other form of depressed situation. They're looking for blame and some chancers are providing them with it.

Whether the users of this forum or any other daily mail/LBC like it or not, if people had some spare cash and a bit more spare time, they'd be less angry and would care a lot less about politics and we'd have a better state of happiness.

The biggest problem is 40 years of bad government, huge disparity of rich and poor and depleted infrastructure.

The blame doesn't lie with muslims, or benefit scroungers, or whatever the next thing the media and government try to blame it on.
Politicians are having a subsidised drink and a cigarette in the house of commons (the law doesn't apply there) bars and raking it in while watching the population arguing about immigrants, Brexit, Trump or anything else journalists are living off, while we all argue, fight and keep them in power.

To summarise, the demographic change is not as great as you would be made to believe. No-one likes change. The loss of 60% of hospital beds, the loss of libraries, parks, parking spaces, small business, manufacturing. The increase of housing costs but lack of housing, hardly any police left and all other associated problems, are of a far greater concern then any "invasion". We are ALL affected, ALL the time by these issues.

By:

Lux's question to STUDYFORM:

Do you think that demographic change and the attitudes of British Muslims are cause for concern?

He did answer it with this:

Demographic change worldwide has always been a concern for the people who consider their land is being "invaded".

When however, it hasn't been invaded (see 1930's Germany) and the "Invasion" scare is propagated by would-be politicians and people online

and then this:

There isn't a fecking "Invasion", Is that clear enough?

He's turned a blind eye to the demographic change as if it isn't there.

'Invasion' from the interweb..

an incursion by a large number of people or things into a place or sphere of activity.

synonyms:    influx, inundation, inrush, rush, flood, torrent, deluge, stream, avalanche
"every year the valley suffers an invasion of cars"
an unwelcome intrusion into another's domain.

Mass immigration is clearly a type of invasion. To suggest otherwise is to deny reality.

Give it up crippen - you're just being extra pitiful. Making more things up.
I didn't post what you quoted did I?

I'll try to be more concise, saddo.
I don't like the immigration, political correctness, changes to society's perceived norms (eg, muslim areas and other "no-go" areas) any more than anyone else.

What I do think though, is that the bigger problem is our government, not any "takeover".

I absolutely DO NOT think the answer to any of our problems lies with "far-right" groups (or however you want to define them). The answer to our problems DOES NOT rest with people like Yaxley or Nick Griffin. There are enough problems without creating extra division.

There aren't too many more ways of saying it.

Invasion is a word asscociated with a military campaign. Men in uniforms with rifles, tanks and air support.

What has failed to take these islands with force is being achieved by stealth:

'Freedom of Movement' - the right to settle in another country and have equal citizenship.
'Migrants' - encompasses both legal and illegal entrants. Come on in. Our country is yours...
'Pluralism' - imposition of all cultures, often at the expense of the existing one.
'Cosmopolitan' - a fancy word meaning globalist i.e no definitive culture nor identity.
'feminism' - under the guise of promoting women it emasculates men, the gender that historically defends a country from INVASION.

As they say..simples.

As things stand, there will one day be a Muslim majority here, and they will take over the running of this country when that happens.

I'd imagine that it won't even require a 'Muslim majority population' to achieve political takeover. Their chosen party just needs to win more seats than the next highest placed party. Labour is already pretty much that party of Compulsory Islam For All. Labour even used to stage Segregated Meetings to suck up to that voting block.

But yes, if and when the numbers are in position, I'd guess The Islam Party would be pretty short odds to take over.
