"you won, but you can be beaten" is the message of Campbell

They just wont accept or let you leave its that simple

Even when they lose its "we need to come together to defeat them"

You are witnessing pure insanity right here Sad

How can people vote for the brexit party, and they spin it as a way to come back and defeat them?

Its not a football match, its people voting in a democratic process

Its absolutely bonkers

That's another vote in which people "have spoken" and they are refusing to accept the result

Maleuk01

Oh they'll polish it up in good style, they will never accept a leave vote EVER!!!

Next PM needs to bypass parliament and ram it through. Put it to bed and move forward

No deal should have already happened

I'm waiting to see how they stop it next time

A general election will no doubt cause another "delay", or they'll claim a new leader of the tories means they need time

I was a very very reluctant leaver in the referendum. It's very clear now as a country we are split .. but for me .. leave is a massive risk. I do deal with the EU for many millions (not billions) .. I design and sell very large automated warehouses so see both sides - the awful exploitation of workers rights and over population at the ground roots level plus the devious Juncker who created the Luxemburg tax haven are dreadful. However I work with EU countries , deal in Euros and import and export products , solutions , systems and service within the EU without worry. If we can overcome some fundamental issues regarding remain ... it seems better than the mess we are currently in. So for me I would go Remain now.

Its not split brexit has clearly won tonight

Its getting massive numbers

But as always they'll add up all the votes and claim brexit was getting less than the combined voting

Such is the childish nature of all this

The welsh guy has added all the votes together and declared remain won

I know the green paty are pro europe.

but surely there are a lot of green voters and lib dem voters are historical voters who vote for that party no matter what.

the brexit party do not have that.

next time say a party wins a general with 38% of the vote, does that mean we need another election as if you add up all the other votes together then they have won

Its quite infuriating listening to them

They still want another referendum, claiming this vote is inconclusive

Basically its a case of keep voting until the "right" result is hit

Exactly

But that wont be case in the GE

Wow Labour drop 26 to 9% on projection in Scotland. Labour 0 seats (projected).
By:

When: 27 May 19 00:12
Most seats doesn't mean you form government in a GE. So adding up is important if there's no majority, and the results show a clear remain vote.

Sontaran - we are split .. but yes a very very strong desire to leave the EU .. but its far from a majority ..

the lib dems and greens have a core vote wether they come down for or against brexit.

So to say every 1 of their votes is an anti brexit isnt quite true.

doubt the bbc will mention that

I thought we already knew that 80% of votes in 2017 were for parties that at the time, said they were committed to Brexit

so are we not doing the same here
By:

When: 27 May 19 00:16
I'd have thought the BP would be wanting 40%+ to indicate that there's still a high probability of a clear majority for leave.
By:
minardi
When: 27 May 19 00:17
what about this as an idea ... local income tax .. whoever you employ whether from the UK , EU or rest of the world  .. a percentage of the income tax goes to local services .. health , schools , roads etc ... We can do this as a country .. if you have a large EU contingent paying low tax on low wages .. the employees will have to pay to support this.
By:
n88uk
When: 27 May 19 00:17
You'd want the leave parties to add up to at least 50%, instead they're nowhere near. It's like 56-44 in favour of remain.
By:
SontaranStratagem
When: 27 May 19 00:18
Exactly, maleuk01

But it was predicted no matter the result they'll claim remain got more votes because all the other parties combined got more votes than the brexit party LaughLaugh

Despite people voting for labour being working class ffs

The goal posts have been moved again as pointed out by aaronh above

one minute the tories are dirty leavers, the next they are part of this remain clique against the BP LaughCrazy

Pathetic
