I always thought countdown was a bit like Ken Bruce’s pop quiz,they try to match up people of similar ability.

if this was a bbc programme, this episode wouldnt be broadcast.

Saw that score of 152 - absolutely incredible - feel sorry for anyone who's waited a lifetime to go on and has to play against that

Rachel been there quite a few years now, Rapidly approaching her sell by date... imo.

Another huge win today, something like 125 - 11.  The losing player got praise for going over 10 points and winning a letters game.

I reckon Elliot, the superb player, has a form of autism.  Besides his brilliant ability to spot patterns I also noticed that he's quite abrupt when speaking.  Some people may confuse that with rudeness/arrogance but I think it's just the way his brain is wired.
