CNN saying they weren't

So a blatant lie from them then?

My points still stand, both sides are pathetic and neither can see how hypocritical they are

CNN pretty much blaming it on a few EU citizens being denied the chance to vote, well they are in the wrong country?

Every EU citizen has the right to vote in his host EU country, either for candidates of his citizenship country, or from the host country. If they're being denied that right because the UK can't organise a simple election, that is banana republic stuff right there.

Isn't organizing elections the responsibility of local councils, rather than central government?

We had exactly the same stories 5 years ago, when councils hadn't sent out some form which foreigners needed to complete to vote in UK elections:

So we're talking about an admin c()ck up affecting possibly hundreds of people nationwide in an election that shouldn't have happened in a PR system that doesn't have "marginal" constituencies, that should hopefully be totally pointless as the MEPs won't even take their seats?

...I blame Brexit.

The MEPs will take their seats. Of course The Brexit Party ones won't because they won't turn up, but otherwise they will.

They'll certainly take all the stationery. They'd take the seats as well if they thought they could get away with it.

Lib Dems - or remain of you like ... I work a lot within Europe  .. No deal would be a disaster .. I don't like the EU for sure but we have clearly seen how broken our political system is and we don't want that in unfettered control surely.

^Taking back control dude. As you can see giving our government and parliament even more power is just what you want.

I wonder if the Brexit party conciously had a right facing arrow? If I was them I'd have had an upwards (FORWARDS) facing arrow.
