The parole board said he no longer poses a risk to the public.

Whoopy doo.  What about the punishment though?

Ran a protection racket at school.

Stabbed a policeman to death.

Laundered a large amount of gold from the Brink's-Mat robbery.

Should have been euthanised a long time ago.

He could live longer free than Stephen Camerons entire life ffs

It just beggars belief that he is going to be released, words fail me.

We shouldn't be surprised really slippy. They were that close to letting that Warboys fella go not that long ago.

As usual this poster shows his idiocracy and disregard for the truth. Noye was born and raised in Bexleyheath, Kent and was a Police Informer or as they are called in Bermondsey a " Grass ". Some hero.

That was road rage, unplanned, and that's 1996 to 2019?

The one I STILL can't get my head around is the dutch left wing activist who murdered (i.e. straight out assasinated) Fortuyn in 2002 was released in 2014, 12 years for cold blooded 100% deliberate murder. Obviously if you want to commit a major crime, that's the place with the sh1tty joke of a legal system to do it.

JC - I'm not sure what you're point is but iirc, the incident was in 1996 but KN went abroad on the run and wasn't convicted until 2000.
Report Just Checking May 22, 2019 8:47 PM BST
My point is that on the subject of people commiting murder and getting out early, the example I cite seems far worse and their system seems even more stupid.
Even if he was convicted in 2000 he was in prison from 1998 wasn't he?
Report akabula May 22, 2019 8:57 PM BST
Anyone committing murder should face a whole life term without any chance of parole.
12 years for the Dutch murder is beyond comprehension.
BTW was Noye convicted of murder?

If he has served 16 years of his sentence...and he is released, what is the problem

Oh yes, he is a bad guy all right, but we still have to have a system of laws

He is now 71, he is also released under following conditions

"Like all life sentence prisoners released by the independent Parole Board, Kenneth Noye will be on licence for the remainder of his life, subject to strict conditions and faces a return to prison should he fail to comply."

I have sympathy for his victim, but however long we lock Noye up, he is not going to come back
