Do wah Diddy chin up mate. I also live alone but am still of working age (45) and have had the last week off work as I felt I needed a rest.
Monday-Wednesday I felt ok but yesterday and today not so. Didn't speak to another human being on Thursday and it is surprising how quickly your confidence can drop.
The mind really is a tricky thing.
Yes I know I could go out and about and force myself to meet others but often it is easier said than done if it not your natural persona. Without the discipline and distraction of work I think I really would struggle. Not looking forward to retirement one bit and I can see why some soon pass away one retirement comes. I have my health so I feel many opportunities are still available. Without ones health that really would be a true strength of character.
