UBLE

Not how it works sadly

They get in on a tick in a box method and then want everyone to pander to them

The way she spoke down to Souness because he didn't understand the BS jargon they use today was awful, the man has forgotten more about football than we'll ever know, a bit more respect was in order

there has been a tactical innovation ,style of play this season that could be debated, explained to people but as alex scott has probably never heard of chris wilder or sheff utd, don't expect scott to talk you through it till she,s heard Klopp.pep etc give their opinion on it

That's my opinion on her, 1tp

She's parroting what someone else has told her, hence Souness looking amused when she's trying to explain it to him, she would have been better off just saying its a defensive tactic, two banks of four etc

She thinks she's come up with this "low block" theory herself the way she talks about it ffs, its nothing new duck, its been around since day 1 Crazy just slight alterations and different variations of such tactics/formations

Pundits are only useful to give some insight into behind the scenes - 99% of them have always been completely useless at describing the game.

Shearer and Lineker practically invented the law of ‘there’s contact so it’s a penalty’.
Hansen refusing to believe goals are anything other than defensive mistakes
Dixon baffled by anything that isn’t 4-4-2

Scott fits right in as a pundit.

Don't get this thread Confused

She gave an interview saying she had been given sexist abuse online, thought about packing it in, but decided to carry on as most people are fair minded whether they agree with her or not.

Not seen any example of her calling constructive criticism abuse.

re Souness she was asked if she had a problem with him interrupting her and she said no, he does that to everyone else, doesn't mind and doesn't expect to be treated differently.

female manager of chelski said the current standard of womens goalkeeping makes it laughable to consider it an elite sport and to help suggests they make the goals smaller for womens football to help female keepers out,
maybe use beech balls so strikers wont hurt their heads
By:

When: 28 May 19 18:42
beech balls would be painful, imo

Make the goals smaller? ffs. And they want to earn the same as the men?

Womens football is none league standard, I'd say most none league sides would just kick them out the game and beat them through that alone as well

They can't even fill none league grounds and they are demanding 50k a week wages? absolute mockery

These "lefties" can't seem to fathom to earn more money you have to offer a product that pays, you have to attract the numbers ffs

They want this and they want that, yet no one wants to pay for your s*** product

Its laughable

interesting to see what viewing figures are for world cup

if noby is interested, or if folk turn over to watch homes under the hammer,
or come dine with me.

pub teams covered live on a sunday, on bbc would be a great idea.

They'd get kicked out the game, 1TP, the men would beat them through nothing more than aggression

They keep sounding off in the media, hows about you organise a game with a league 2 side and prove your worth ? nope wont do that because they know they'd get smashed

Instead its easier for the media to talk about awful women have it with periods and babies ffs

They can't even attract their own demographic into the game, girls just aren't interested, so what chance do they have of attracting a wider audience?
By:

players could have a swift half if a var was called...

Women have periods? I didn't know that, BBC

Women have babies? didn't know that either, BBC

Its natural is it, BBC?

If no one watched the matches, and viewing figures were poor,  would we be told though??

Would it make any difference to women's football scheduling??

More and more is going to be rammed down our throats.

Benny

No they wont tell us, just like they don't tell us all about the stuff going on in the middle east

But to it simply they will just... lie

Say its getting its highest viewing figures and provide absolutely no evidence of this, and the public who just don't care wont care

lippy breaks , like the lasses on the make up counters Excited , during var breaks.

one of most annoying things about ladies football, is same as schoolboy stuff and
thats the crowd noises. you cant beat adult male supporters for creating atmosphere
and without it, its not the same.
By:

When: 28 May 19 23:07
if kicking the other team was allowed as a means of victory in ladies football, then
there would be teams using that tactic, and the pub teams wiuld get stuffed !

i guess neville has considered it Laugh

the goals are a bit big for them, as are the bigger pitches like wembley, they
should accept that and do something. then the game will be of higher standard
or at least appear so.
By:

Read somewhere that when footie started, say 1800’s sometime, the average male height was 5’ 5” ... about the same as women now.
Goals have always been 6’ by 6 yds.

reaching the balls aint the problem, dropping them and throwing them in the net is the problem for ladies goalkeepers

That’s an interesting point about height, racing cert.even in the 1960s & 70s plenty of goalkeepers were well under 6 ft.from memory England keepers spring etc & bonetti were only 5 ft 9/10.

if they shrink the goals they,ll do what we did at school put the useless fat fecker between the beans on toasts
By:

When: 29 May 19 09:48
if you played in the park with jumpers for goalposts a small goalie could
always kick the jumpers a bit closer to each other and nobody would notice.

he would likely get more decisions when claims were made for over the bar.

so small lads went in goal, nobody else wanted to anyway, and we ended
up with small goalies ....

Fran Kirby (England striker) : believes the country’s female players “need to win the World Cup” before they can entertain discussions about equal pay with male footballers.

“Ultimately we are doing the same job as the men,Laugh but I understand that we’re not filling out stadiums'

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-cup/2019/05/24/fran-kirby-need-win-world-cup-can-talk-equal-pay-englands-women/

With this 'logic' ANYONE who plays football should get Prem wages?????
