The Beatles - Still have the ticket stub 7s6p ( Top price tickets [10s] were sold out) screaming, crying girls almost drowned the music but was an unforgettable night all the same.

I have vague memories of travelling to the Isle Of Wight with my parents around '68/'69 , not for the festival itself but to see Hawkwind perform outside the venue . However , my first recollections of Hawkwind was seeing them at the Hammersmith Odeon under the guise of 'Hawklords' in '78 .

10cc at Bridlington Spa Hall in 1978. Been to hundreds of gigs since but saw them in York just month so they're currently my first and last. And they're still bloody amazing.

mad mad moon - was that the tour where 'Liar' were support ?
There was a support band, but not a clue who they were. I was probably in the bar. Thinking about it , it might easily have been 1979
