My border collie detests birds, always trying to catch one of them the little git

But he'll attack it and then leave it to suffer ffs, meaning I have to put it out its misery Sad

When I was a boy my dad's Collie would go beserk at the mention of the word 'birds'.  She also used to enjoy watching my brother's hamsters.  She wouldn't attack them, she'd just stare for ages and dribble puddles on the floor.

I was watching a bird floating about on the hot rising air on the side of a hill the other day, it came down and landed near me and I was amazed to see how the bottom of the bird was all sore and damaged looking.

I asked a bird watcher nearby what causes this and he said "oh, that's just thermal under wear".
