In this age of equality - well, not really, but you get the point. Why can most women not shake hands properly? I hate it when a woman goes for the handshake as you know a limp little handshake is coming. You do your normal shake that you would do with a man and it seems like you're squeezing the life out of their hand. Ffs shake hands properly or just wave instead. If there are any women left on this forum perhaps they can explain. Rant over.
Tbh over the past couple of years I have started to go off shaking hands, partly due to greater awareness of how germs spread, but more that it just seems like a silly ritual.

Ever had "handshake guilt"? Where you go for your standard manly handshake and fluff it, don't pull it off (don't connect properly) and it feels like you've just shaken like a 14 year old gurl, and you then spend the rest of the meeting/interview thinking about this. You've let yourself down, your parents down. Sometimes I can't sleep for it.

You can't beg for another go to PROVE your manly handshake. "That was sh1t, let's go again, I've been under a lot of pressure at work, and ..". Well I've never tried, but I'm sure it would just make things worse.
