It's when a man gives you a limp handshake - that you need to start worrying.

It is probably a hand size mismatch and one hand is too small to wrap round the larger hand in order to grip properly.

Tbh over the past couple of years I have started to go off shaking hands, partly due to greater awareness of how germs spread, but more that it just seems like a silly ritual.

Ever had "handshake guilt"?
Where you go for your standard manly handshake and fluff it, don't pull it off (don't connect properly) and it feels like you've just shaken like a 14 year old gurl, and you then spend the rest of the meeting/interview thinking about this. You've let yourself down, your parents down. Sometimes I can't sleep for it. |

You can't beg for another go to PROVE your manly handshake. "That was sh1t, let's go again, I've been under a lot of pressure at work, and ..". Well I've never tried, but I'm sure it would just make things worse.

If I know there's a good prospect of some hand shaking in the near future I like to hold my genitals first. Just for the inner-lols.
