Out of honour and respect for "Flabbot the Train Booze Can Chugger", I decided to make myself a mojito tonight (will do so shortly). I've had them on holiday and liked them, and the ingredients are apprently: Rum, Mint, Lime, Soda Water and .. SUGAR. Was surprised at that.
I'll skip that last ingredient, I want to keep my trim wasteline so I can go on Strictly and start chucking my whatyamacallit about like randy dog on viagra. Do the Macarena or something.

It's white Bacardi. Quite a lot of Rum types these days. The Gin aisle is worse, all sorts of wierd wacky and "artisan" types. It's good in a way as they (and the wacky rum) often appear to be British. So not (unlike say vodka) handing the cash over to Sweden or Russia so they can inflict Abba or Nuclear Armagedon on us. Which is worse? You decide .. in both cases the winner takes it all :P

Update: The Mojito kind of worked! The dried mint floated to the top and wont stay down so I gave it a good mix and let it sit for a few minutes, but certainly did something, I try not to take so much every sip. So for you own home spun Poundland Mojito needs, all you really need is: White Rum, Lime Cordial, Mint (dried if no fresh), Soda Water (or Sodastream water, could use Lemonade really) and fine sugar if you wanted.
It's quite pleasant actually. 4/5 will drink again. Not sure why supermarkets don't sell pre mixed mojito mix (maybe they do, never seen it).
Now .. I REALLY want to eat 10 pies and go on a train. Why stop at 10. Now my inhibitions are gone and I drink Mojito I want to eat ALL the pies and go on ALL the trains.
