When I was in engineering I had two machines to operate the other men had one and for years I worked hard and earnt the most bonus by far well more than anyone else I was the king .They all spent their money on nice semi detached houses and had nice homes.
I lived in a house that was that damp I put drawing pins in the wall paper so it wouldn't falll off.the roof used to leak and I used to climb up into the very small opening in the loft with pitch to try and fix it in my underpants .I then come down and got in my tin bath which I hung up on our outside toilet in the late 50s The ceiling in the other bedroom was that old it was angling down .my ex wife said don't like it it will fall down but because I don't listen to anyone I poked it and it all fell down . At night I would get in bed and hear the rain dripping in through the roof Everybody else at work who was normal didn't gamble much they all had nice homes and they were on much less than me .I was the top earner and lived in a two up two down terraced house in Boston that I rented . Later I did the markets and had two shops and made a fortune but I'm still the nutter who has to risk all or nothing and lost the lot as well as loosing myself and my family now 70 I've learnt nothing and will not stop until the day I die . This is not a story looking for sympathy it's a story of a mad man who is in a world of his own |

I'm a compulsive gambler and a recovering alcoholic and i still look at people thinking I know where their going wrong and they should listen to me.i look at loads and think look at the state of that
When I joined aa and GA .I wanted to tell them where they were going wrong .I'm not just fed up of everyone else but I'm that fair minded that I'm even fed up of my self .I don't just call other people i call myself also. I'm that fair of a person but even saying that they all get on my nerves more than I get on my own |

I'm sure it would be a lot easier for every body else to change to suit me rather than me change to suit them
Even though I've been advised to change .but that is impossible and not only that but i wont |

I'm not leaving my head head to science I don't want anyone to get a transplant and walk about with what's inside it .I'm sure if I can't cope with it then these lesser mortals have no chance

But then again this shows what a nice nutter I am by not wanting anyone else to have it even if it's free

DIDDY,
I don't want to pile on the hurt, but I was in a branch of Morrisons yesterday and they were GIVING away some of the £1 Smarties Ester Eggs to customers who were checking out their groceries. I was trying to find the shortest checkout queue and as I did so I saw three of their staff (one with a loudhailer) with a pile of Easter Eggs. The one with the loudhailer shouted "The winner of this free Easter Egg is in Lane 5. I had actually started to queue in Lane 6, so I saw the prize giving handover and hoped I might be in line for the next one by the time I came to check out my goods. The next prize went to some herbert in Lane 2, and as by then I had started to pack my groceries away, I assumed my chance had gone. Thinking quickly I then slowed down my grocery-packing activity to almost a standstill, probably annoying the couple behind me. My foresight and initiative were rightly rewarded though as I heard the unforgettable sound of "The winner of this Easter Egg is in Lane 6". I didn't look up or give any sign of celebration though, just in case they gave it to the couple behind me. Happily as I was bagging up the last of my groceries away (a six-pack of Tiger Baps) the presentation team approached me and advised me I was the new owner of a Smarties Easter Egg. I declined their offer of a photo opportunity, but was happy to accept the free Easter Egg. I won't be putting the Easter Egg in a food bank, or donating it to the poor or Climate Change Protestors. No, hopefully I'll be enjoying it on Easter Sunday, maybe with an episode of 'Line of Duty'. And isn't it good to type the words "Easter Egg" when in recent years some imbeciles have tried to erase Easter traditions, just in case it might upset some Peace-Loving type who in their dreams wants to bomb British concert buildings. I feel your pain Diddy, but be pleased for me at least. Have a good Easter despite it all. Kindest regards as always |

I ordered two from Thorntons online. The delivery was prompt, but the eggs were badly broken, melted and fused in transit; received a refund, but never again.
