Report i_agree_with_nick April 4, 2019 10:09 PM BST
Yes, he was also an immigrant.
Report mouse muldoon April 4, 2019 10:11 PM BST
Did he read books?

Kosminski is not a new claim and they were all too brief in their reasoning at the end. They referred to the American quack's accent, but surely Kosminski would have had a noticeable accent as well?

I go along with Michael Shrimpton's claim, that it wuz the Germans! Laugh

i thought it was a pretty decent introduction to the cases

but the conclusion was very hurried...could have done a 6 part series
with all of the decent suspects there are.

Was he a "promsing croquet player"?
Report donny osmond April 4, 2019 10:49 PM BST
would have been good to plot suspects on the map, if that was a good way to narrow them down
Report i_agree_with_nick April 4, 2019 10:50 PM BST
I saw a programme a few years back which made an excellent case for one of the suspects.

I can't recall his name but I think he was a slaughterhouse worker.
Report smirnoff2therescue April 4, 2019 11:57 PM BST
Cant remember how many books ive read on this case over the years but nothing was added to whats already out there in this show in reality other than the fact that its now widely accepted that the "letters" were indeed a hoax from journalists who wanted to keep the story in the news ........ not surprisingly some 90 yrs later the same events played themselves out in the Yorkshire Ripper case especially after Wearside Jack thru his hat into the ring ShockedShockedCryCry
Report smirnoff2therescue April 4, 2019 11:59 PM BST
recent series on H2 "told you who it was" but reality was it didnt just like tonights show LaughLaughLaugh

so many suspects , sell a few more books yet.
Report smirnoff2therescue April 5, 2019 12:21 AM BST
wont ever find him donny - so many suspects but not the technology or men on the beat to catch him back then and all this computer technology is never gonna pin him down especially after everything that went on back in the day which "real" evidence that may have been there was lost  - tbh the bbc show was one of the more lamentable ones ive watched in recent times in that it offered sweet f a in relation to "the facts" that are already out there

I think they have the right man

Kosminski was always a suspect. Now his DNA has been found close the case, I really think it is him,

seems too much of a coincidence otherwise.

Well I think he was mad and an obvious deep hatred of women, especially prostitutes.

What he did to Mary Kelly is sickening beyond belief. Perhaps he sickened himself and stopped

Pity he was not brought to justice, he deserved to hang
Report scandanavian_haven April 5, 2019 12:40 AM BST
Mystery generates money, the books, films, tours etc. Pretty sure they know he is.
Report donny osmond April 5, 2019 12:48 AM BST
theres always been a doubt over kominsky and kaminski
who were in the same asylum, iirc

one died fairly soon and the one they pointed at tonite died
30 years after the crimes

not always sure they dont mix em up!
Report smirnoff2therescue April 5, 2019 12:49 AM BST
They  dont but you are right on the rest

And as for UBLE/REGY - the prosecution rest m'lord and you get a verdict similar to whats just happened re Hillsborough PlainPlainSadSad

same sh ite different channel. David Wilson has made more of these than the doughnuts he's scoffed
Report darren_discombobulates_sports April 8, 2019 1:02 AM BST
Without DNA evidence they'll never really know, he spent most time with Mary Kelly, they can't locate her grave in Leytonstone to exhume her so I don't think they've really closed the case. Whoever it was was certainly mentally ill, no sane person could carry out those crimes.
Report themightymac April 8, 2019 1:31 AM BST
They can`t solve crimes happening today but they are going to solve one that happened in Victorian times LaughLaugh
