Personally, I think we will leave.  If you can persuade the no deal supporters in he Tory ranks to be pragmatic, perhaps by May leaving, there will just about be enough support to squeeze a deal through.

I worry about anyone that was/is fanatical either way. It offered many very good things and many very bad. If you weren't conflicted you probably didn't fully understand it. Your chances of fully understanding it were always then going to be minimal once the campaigning started.

Not trying to patronise, it's exactly as you say it - not black and white.

i'd be quite happy with Ref 2 or a GE. Ref 2 & a bigger hammering awaits for the remain crew. GE & the nutcase can't contest

Anyone fancy a "soft" Brexit, leave but still got to answer to the bastards, I have a horrible feeling that's the way it will end up--totally bloody pointless and that stitch up.

"PARLIAMENT has been accused of passing a "dangerous" amendment that will "upend the balance between our democratic institutions"by the Government".
The statement was released after MP"s voted to seize control of the House of Commons agenda and force a series of "indicative" votes on Brexit options. The Brexit outcomes to be considered will include revoking Article 50,holding a second EU membership referendum and a softer exit that would see the UK remain within the Customs Union".

Still think this is going to get through despite everything that's happened

May just wont go will she, and now there's support from the ERG

"stitch up" indeed, May wont be seen again after this, she'll resign quicker than anything.

"indicative votes could help get May's deal through"

LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

So now they are trying a different tact to get it through. Soon it will be a house whipping, you have to vote in favour of it ffs

Absolutely pathetic what they are trying to do, its not even hiding it ffs

"why there must be, and cannot be an election"

Crazy

What are they trying to do? is it international dumb day or something?

alright wasn't the smartest thing to say but don't see where she was wrong when she said parliament has basically taken against the people

a large number of MPs have been actively trying to sabotage/block brexit since day 1 and plenty of others would do so too if they thought they could away with it without much political damage to themselves or their party
By:

May sabotaged it with the pathetic way she handled it

A remainer comes in, calls an election, does nothing during the election campaign and then loses the majority, weakens her hand in "negotiations" in the process

She's scum

Red 2 is a free go for the remainers
If they win Brexit cancelled and like the honest
goodwilled people we are we accept it.
If leave wins again nothing gets done as you still
have the same MP's in parliarment
A woman freind of mine who is security at HOC
says the remainer mp's but especially the Lords are making it
as slow as poss by just doing same speeches over and over again.

She lost 13 seats when she held an election.  The irony is when she saw an opportunity to increase her lead and push her BREXIT deal through, she actually ended up losing itLaugh

She should've held the election during student exam weeks.  Easy to get complacent when the opposition is so weak.

I don't see why the LDs and SNP should support it when they think it's a daft idea tbh.  And I think the public who thought it would be simple to leave, which appears plenty going by polling, have had a reality check
By:
CLYDEBANK29
When: 28 Mar 19 15:33
I might be wrong here, but I think the odds on BREXIT happening are shorter now than after the referendum.  That would imply TM has done a good job, despite a decreased majority, of getting BREXIT through.  Certainly that's my thinking as a remainer.  The horrible woman has done everything in her powers to get a deal through.  It's Labour that's blocked it

General Election now inevitable.
Prole pretender Corbyn will be next PM in a coalition.Labour will campaign on manifesto which will guarantee a 2nd Referendum,as will Lib Dems, SNP and others, this is how it ends. The UK will never leave.

All it takes is civil disobedience, downing tools over there, stopping planes taking off over that way etc etc

But people haven't the brains for that, the best most efficient way of getting heard is to hit them in the pockets, stop public transport, bring the motorways to a complete standstill, stop the tankers filling up the petrol stations, start closing down banks, stuff like that Happy

And when it starts effecting the shelf's in the supermarkets people will be quick to demand resignations trust me

But like I said no one has the brains for that, instead they'll burn a few buildings down, throw a few rocks and that'll be that
By:
SontaranStratagem
When: 02 Apr 19 11:53
By stopping fuel tankers getting into the country you immediately cut off an arm to the police, no petrol = no cop cars/vans etc, Grin

The army will be running low on fuel, no tanks/water cannons etc

Fight smart
By:
SontaranStratagem
When: 02 Apr 19 11:55
But like I said, we'll get a few nights of only fools and horses style rioting and that'll be that

Cops/Army will quickly disperse all the rioters through nothing more than sheer brute force and tiredness

Because they will stand there waiting to be trampled on Sad
