They're a good duo.  Very informative and very watchable.

Agree. Both very likeable and they work well together. Loved Italy unpacked too.

Quality series. I liked Francesco's various documentaries too.

Rome is my favourite city to visit for a short break. Only saw the first programme but it provided a great canvass.

I have got a bit lazy in recent years and stopped doing research and as a result have been eating tourist food and losing my will to live. I was an Italuan once. I lived to eat.

I shall be taking notes from now on but unfortunately Mrs 'Death. will be self excluding from my visit to the offal cafe!

I am constantly amazed by Roman sculpture it us easy to get blaze when confronted by so much in Rome but I was enlightened by the explanations and history of all the art and particularly the paintings which generally do not do much for me.
