I can hear Ann Widdecombe but can't see her. Is there any link to the stage so we can see Nigel et al making their speeches?

Well done and congratulations GB.

We have a much smaller and exposed economy but I really would love the irish government to give us a chance to vote on leaving.

The European union is the most corrupt unelected organisation outside of Russia.

Best wishes and may you prosper as I expect you will in the long term despite attempts to hinder you early on from other member states.

During this phase to determine the future UK-EU relationship, the UK will still be obliged to follow EU rules, but it will have no say in the EU's law-making process and no members in the European Parliament or any other EU institutions. Britain will remain in the single market, the customs union and will continue paying into the EU budget. British citizens can continue to move freely, work and study in the EU while EU nationals in the UK have the same rights.

So you've left but haven't? why all the commotion then?

We have left because we are now out of the EU. We just have all agreed to have a transition period. Thick as pigshit.
By:

But you haven't left

You still have to abide to all the rules until you come to some arrangement

Left in name only at this moment in time, in fact your worse off at this moment in time because there's no say in EU law, they make a new law this country has to abide to it until the transition period is over, and no one knows if that's ever going to happen

Two parties agreeing to abide by certain rules for 11 months does not mean they are in a Union. So we have left we just abide by  the agreed rules.

Yes maybe in real terms nothing has changed but to try and suggest we haven't left is nonsense.
By:

But you only leave officially once those rules are no longer valid?
By:

When: 01 Feb 20 02:08
No. We were previously in a Union. We have now left that Union. We have agreed until the end of the year we will share the same rules.
