Maybe they want to switch chit chat's attention to the uk mosque attack? I see a news item on that but i can make neither head nor tail of it. Two men apparently attacked a mosque. They are then shown to be shouting at someone in a car. One jumps on to the front part of the car and keeps shouting at the driver. The text says the attacker escaped on the bonnet of the car

Free speech is dead, you're not allowed to say what you really think happened in an event like this one. Your thoughts must be the same as what the media want you to think and your reasoning must match what you are being told. To have your own thoughts and to be able to come to your own conclusion and then express that point of view is just not acceptable anymore, that's why I won't be giving my view on this event as it wouldn't be tolerated or allowed.

Bottled up rage doesn't always equate to lashing out spontaneously, sometimes it festers and you add in the naturally fanatical mind, it results in what you saw in NZ. They are calling this bloke "mentally ill", he's not mentally ill, he wouldn't have been able to do what he did if he was mentally ill would he He was of sound mind, he knew exactly what he was going to do and he did it with aplomb ffs, a mentally ill person wouldn't have been able to act out that in such a composed manner They are literally cr**ing themselves in my opinion |

No one was getting scared with what we were discussing on the thread that was deleted. Even if it was still there, we'd have still been whining inside our little bubble. But now that it has been deleted, we are whining about the deletion, and not the actual issue of that thread. By the simple deletion of a thread, the topic has changed from the shooter to freedom of speech.
This is just a small example of what politicians do at a much larger scale. And like the betfair moderators, they dont work for you, but for some reason you all think they should. I am not sure if that illusion will ever change among the european public. |
