The one about the far right infiltrating betfair's forum.

By:
Any more?
By:
Who do you think are the "far right" on here, Mouse?
By:
No
By:
Remains to be seen who goes full neo within the next couple of years.
By:
I think they'll shut the forum down soon after that anyway.
By:
JFK
Rudolf Hess Marilyn Monroe Roswell |
By:
Who do suspect specifically?
By:
I believe the one says JFK shot himself.
By:
By:
What weapon did JFK shoot himself with?
By:
The UK being a democracy

Keeping secretive extensive files on forum users isn't healthy. You should have the courage of your convictions, name them and get all your suspicions out in the open.
It is the first steps to recovery. |
By:
I've already sayed too much.

It's a sleeping giant.
By:
JFK shot himself with a special edible gun on loan from James Bond, allegedly.
By:
Not at all, Mouse. I have heard that these conspiracy theory obsessions can become all consuming to the detriment if one's well being.
Sharing your fears is a good thing. We're here to help. |

2 days celebration on the 29th/30th march then the sleeping giant awakens on April 1st.

I hope there is enough room on this thread for when terry and make my may arrive
![]() Btw does JFK even count as a conspiracy theory now? |
By:
Classified info, Torqy.
By:
JFK is definitely a conspiracy theory (or many). Do you now believe one of the theories is true Hank?
By:
Think he could've got shot from the storm drain
By:
By THE RAT?
By:
I haven't read enough on the subject tbh to have a solid feeling. I just mean that over the years the official account seems to be doubted by a lot more than other events out there. i have been to the area where it happened and if forced to go with one theory I suppose I'd choose the Soviet connection.
By:
As for other conspiracy theories I hate seeing ones like the debunked autism link with vaccines as they effect people right now as opposed to looking back at historical events like JFK.

By:
A conspiracy theory is the fear of a nonexistent conspiracy or the unnecessary assumption of conspiracy when other explanations are more probable. Evidence showing it to be false, or the absence of proof of the conspiracy, is interpreted by believers as evidence of its truth, thus insulating it from refutation.
According to the political scientist Michael Barkun, conspiracy theories rely on the view that the universe is governed by design, and embody three principles: nothing happens by accident, nothing is as it seems, and everything is connected. Another common feature is that conspiracy theories evolve to incorporate whatever evidence exists against them, so that they become, as Barkun writes, a closed system that is unfalsifiable, and therefore "a matter of faith rather than proof". On a psychological level, studies show Machiavellianism and paranoia are highly correlated with conspiratorial thinking. |
By:
None.
Obviously I accept that some incidents have inconsistencies. |
By:
I'm of the belief, you understand, that several conspiracy theories have in time come to be seen as truth by most. It interests me, therefore, to see how some are ridiculed on here, even those who disbelieve the official JFK report for example.
By:
The human desire to avoid cognitive dissonance also plays in to the popularity of conspiracy theories.
By:
What conspiracy theories do you believe are true?
Donald Trump is an android controlled by Vladimir Putin. |
By:
No, he's just a man controlled by Vladimir Putin.
By:
The Jimmy Savile case stands out for me. I know loads of people (and I'm sure there were many on here too) who ridiculed anybody who said Savile was a heinous paedophile, serial rapist and necrophiliac. Presumably most of those same people have now changed their minds on that score, but it hasn't seemed to change their views about conspiracy theorists.
By:
Melania is an android, I'll give you that.
By:
The JFK conspiracy is interesting but I've never read anything that has been proved.
Certainly loads of stuff that makes you think but nothing concrete imo. Struggling to think of any that have been proved. |
By:
I didn't believe the Jimmy Savile rumours myself BTW.
By:
I think most had heard rumours of JS being a wrong 'un, but I must admit the scale of all that was revealed was truly mind blowing.
By:
How do you define truth?
Therein lies the conundrum that fuels conspiracy theories, one man's truth is another man's lies. |
