How are National Treasures like Chris Evans going to get a living wage when the BBC is only getting four quid extra? It's a disgrace that our favourite luvvies will be forced by this uncaring government to struggle on like the rest of us. The whole country will be, quite rightly, outraged.

If the license fee was only £4 that might be value for money, but that wouldn't even pay for Jon Sopels champagne lunch subsistence expenses.
They ought to increase it by £400, might stir some of the keyboard activists to finally go through with their proposed boycott.
