i knew it would be you 1stTP
How many do you think will follow?Chukas closet may finally open? I bet it's The Telegraph |
By:
no idea, but theres lots of reasons to leave the labour party all my workmates left labour because of blair, but to leave because the leadership want to try and honour the Brexit vote is beyond ridiculous,
why didn't leslie leave when a million people marched over Iraq war,he not only stayed but voted for it |
By:
Berger & Chuka were certainties to go. The others i'm slightly surprised at but heres a thought; i think Rebecca Long Bailey may follow
By:
They should call themself that. "3rd Party". Labour under Commie scum Corbyn could be renamed "Fire and Theft".
By:
anxious will be calling Chuka a spiv next
By:
don't really see the point not putting themselves up for election, not starting a new party, all remainers so wont vote for mays deal, what bills will vote for that labour wont besides 2nd reff
looks like look at us,us,us,us |
By:
i don't think they would have done this without Tory back up.

By:
smith saying they,ll get plenty of support with voters there not a party, there not starting a party.there single independent mp,s ,
smith comes across as dim as the toc H LAMP |
By:
The depressing thing is, while I welcome a new centrist party, chuka always appeared to me to be a very irritating, slimey, opportunist and untrustworthy individual who makes Blair seem like an honest man. Hope he's not the leader...
By:
Imagine jumping into a lifeboat with Chucky at the helm.

CHRIS LESLIE
last 3 years have shown JC is not fit to be leader of the country, but got elected on corbyns manifesto 18 months ago, campaigned for JC to become PM like smith just spouting absolute shoite |

By:
he plays the cello
By:
iirc when he pulled out of the leadership contest it had something to do with protecting Bride of Chucky and their kids.
By:
do you think this could turn out badly, 1st TP? I think any split from either party is a thing of beauty at the moment
By:
Wonder if any of the splliters will apear on Diverse Loose Women do Politics?
By:
"Ex" Labour guy on TV just said "Corbyn is a threat to national security". High praise indeed ;)
By:
Jezza will be living the dream right now
By:
I,m happy to sit back and watch it all for apart, but I don't think for one minute you could get 320 people out of the 650 mp,s in commons to form, run the country, worst ever mp,s
By:
but he campaigned for him to be PM 18 months ago, says it all absolute loon ,makes him as bad as Corbyn if you follow gapes logic
By:
he will say Jezza has got worse; or anyone is better than a Tory
By:
LOL at the far left corbynite saying Corbyn's politics is "new politics" and the leavers are "old politics".
I didn't realise being a marxist dinosaur was a novel concept. |
By:
Wishes Luciana well with her "impending baby", what a lovely turn of phrase.
By:
this is what this 'new' party is going to preach; NEW politics

"Sane Labour" has a nice ring to it, if they are still looking for a name as an alternative to Corbyn's Labour Party.
Meanwhile... The word 'spiv' is very often used by persons of limited intelligence (with an even more limited vocabulary) to describe better-off people with more money. I was wondering whether this young man also qualified for the description? You see he's reportedly been making a few quid out of renting out his former 'social housing' flat. He uses AirBnB website to do this, despite Labour's dislike of this platform. This on top of the money he already earns in a cosy sinecure via the cronyism route. Corbyn's Labour : Do as I say, not as I do. . https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6713033/Thats-rich-Corbyns-son-Sebastian-rents-ex-council-flat-Airbnb-fat-profit.html . |

The momentum guy just interviewed seem to be trying to control the snarl and his hatred for the people who have just left, you can just imagine what it's like behind closed doors being a moderate labour MP, dealing with the hard left fanatics who now have the whip hand. They keep saying there is a culture of bullying and intimidation, and it's hard to understand why anyone would think they have been making it up.

In my shoes I think that makes nearly everyone else here a spiv. |

I wonder if there are any examples of that, that spring to the minds of forum members? ![]() |

Berger was getting bullied at her constituency (Wavertree) & that's when this plan came to fruition for me
By:
because to auld labour voters would todays mp,s count as bullying is evertyday life, get on with it stuff, not counting the small minority of nasty online stuff
By:
