What is sad, is that someone comes on this thread simply to troll, after receiving support from umpteen posters to be reinstated.
And after he has been reinstated, he hasn't the decency to support the return of other posters who also had their posting privileges removed. I think that should make many angry not sad. |

i think the authorites and the establishment will eventually try to ban social media, they dont want the little people to have any opinions apart from the ballot box ever 4 or 5 year its banned in the socialist paradise of cuba. and they dont know what a ballot box is, never having voted for their cuddly dictators. no doubt you are outraged by this? |

Kenny, one of the very best posters on here was Londis Lagerhound (a.k.a. Psychic Muttley). He was our p.c. wizard and helped many people along the line. Also he was the official photographer for Taunton racecourse and when I casually mentioned how much I love watching horses in action he sent me a load of wonderful photos that I still have. He made a completely innocuous remark and someone reported him and he was a gonner never to be seen again, very sad that people feel the need to report people imhaho.

I did really like Bert, he was far too smart for this place and he let people get under his skin and basically had a bit of a meltdown in the end.
Easily the best poster ever to grace this forum was gamble, by the proverbial country mile. Cubone (Don Butler) an honourable runner up. |

What made the reporting even worse in the old days, was that there wasn't a report button.
Anyone with a bee in their bonnet had to email betfair, which would be far too much trouble for anyone of sound mind. |

er.. surely the blame lies with the moderators for taking notice of frivolous or inadequate complainers. why dont they tell them its a free forum and if they dont like it, bugger off? who decides if its offensive? is the outrage of the complainant sufficient in itself?

Guessing there's a lot of spam accounts banned. Not so much these days, but when sign ups were allowed you used to get a load of advertising accounts or people post porn links or whatever other crap.

Some people simply don't know how to behave themselves, and the practise of writing appalling stuff to strangers seems popular amongst cowards who wouldn't dare to speak to people face to face in the manner they do here.

Seems totally unfair that moisok is banned, while another who wrote 18 lines of obscene abuse on one thread alone is still posting.
