He is a famous gay, black actor. I'd never heard of him either til there were reports the other week about him being attacked and lots of follow up stuff as to how it proved how evil and racist America is.
Said he was walking down the street in Chicago when he was attacked by 2 white men who beat him up, poured bleach on him and put a noose around his neck while shouting ''This is MAGA country!” .... “They called me a f*****, they called me a n*****
Two weeks worth of US media debating whether Trump is to blame for this but now police have arrested 2 Nigerians
I doubt the Nigerians are gonna get done for it either as supposedly CCTV shows there was a maximum of 60 seconds in which the entire attack could have happened. So some sort of hoax event seemingly.
Weird that a successful person would ruin himself making this sh1t up.

Just reading about this. Unbelievable. Why would he be so stupid? Thrown his career down the toilet and ensured most genuine cases will now be doubted. What an idiot.
Following on from her ridiculous performance during the Kavanaugh hearings, Kamala Harris has embarrassed herself badly yet again with this fiasco.
When questioned about her awkward tweets she was literally dumbstruck.

.@JussieSmollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I’m praying for his quick recovery.
This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.
A bit later........
"OK, so, I will say this about that case," she said. "I think that the facts are still unfolding, and, um, I’m very, um, concerned about obviously, the initial, um, allegation that he made about what might have happened.

Chicago police now have him as `a suspect`; pleasing news indeed
jussie smollett charged with filing a false police report
egg on the face of the media again jumping to conclusions because it was a MAGA attack.
maybe the media would think when he reported that the attackers shouted this is MAGA country in Chicago at him that all is not well with the claim

the police had 24 officers on the case after he made the accusation of assault must have been a quiet week for shootings in the area to put so many resources into this case
nellie, it seems fairly clear the police were highly sceptical from the get go.
when this happens what do they do, say we don't believe you?
they never do that, they act as though they believe them and give them enough
time to make mistakes & contradict themselves while they look into it.
we have seen any number of cases of the police acting in this way and often with
the help of the media.

This is sad and dangerous if (fk it, 'when' since it'll only be a matter of time) it is replicated in the UK
Sad, because as in all such cases e.g false rape claims, genuine victims suffer through a seeping general lack of belief in their claims. However, under present hate claim legislation, this kind of thing can only widen, with the Police duty bound to investigate no matter how spurious.
For anyone interested, Anna Soubry has fully signed up to the new definition of 'Islamaphobia' and the laws prsecuting individuals suspected of this neo-crime, so that's the kind of moribund thinking we're talking about at the heart of this new Independent (ho-ho-ho) Group

When news of this alleged attack first broke the name of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement was mentioned umpteen times in every news report. Now Smollett's perfidious actions have been exposed it seems the media have conveniently forgotten both of these previous obsessions.
Like most people, I'd never heard of this no-mark before this truly grubby affair began.
In line with Modern Lefty Rules, as with Kevin Spacey, he cannot possibly be considered for any further acting roles.

Thought he was being shafted(pay wise) by his employer so arranges a stunt whereby he could end up doing time and ironically get shafted once again.
he's been arrested. Charged with filing a false police report
Seems like a good wage too me, maybe that is only defence his lawyers could come up with when snookered.
The wage thing still comes across a lie, he earns 65k per episode on a show we all have never seen, In America that is probably good.
Sadly another pawn in the lefts agenda.

charges have been dropped against a gay mixed raced man, chit chat seething and incandescent with rage
So his lawyers accepted that two brothers (black) carried out the attack and JS paid them $3500
But apparently the payment was for “nutrition and physical exercise”
And he gave up his $10,000 dollar bail payment.
The justice system in the US is weird.

Is there not such a thing as wasting police time ,unbelievable , incredible decision
No Trial ,but he wont be going back to his Job too soon .. Basically as Guilty as sin and no court case is the Outcome
Very strange

If police dont want their time wasting then a deterrent would be to jail those who waste their time.
Semms the Luvvie Types have no problem with the Law not taking course , Depending on who the Accused is
its like an episode of law and order
strange tale, why not prosecute, or prosecute the two attackers
somebody must be guilty of something

Michelle obama got her aide, Tina Tchen, to intervene; yet more corrupt deep state stuff from the World`s Worst Ever President. Scandalous, but even worse is the arrogance of the blatancy. Thankfully, though, this is not over.
Did the news say this actor guy is to do community service?
Well if a guy had legitimately been attacked why has he seemingly offered to do community service?
Is it usual for people under suspicion and charged with 16 charges to then offer to do community service and get charges dropped?
Would they have done the same to the attackers?
I take it he still believes he was attacked then, whats he going to do about that, just accept it?

people keep going on about that Tina Fox recused herself from the case which is true but only after the Chicago Sun reported her conversations with Tina Tchen
dusty; he did `18 hours `community service`. And what did this consist of? Political activism in the office of Jesse Jackson, and some `media training` workshop! Really. Turns out his childhood was in a Black Panther household, and he was already friends with the obamas, Jackson, Don Lemon, etc.
He still maintains it was two white culprits, yet his lawyer yesterday kept on talking about the Nigerians doing it!

Gorgeous George Soros in the mix too, he financed Tina Foxx's run for office some years ago to the tune of over $400,000.
FBI still investigating Smollet for his mail fraud crime where he supposedly sent himself hate mail in the post. Lol.
Other charges dropped in a 4d chess play to investigate political tampering in this case higher up and possibly bring down Foxx, Tchen, Michelle O among others.

Dont forget little aaronh who claimed JS was exonerated when he wasn't.
So nothing was proved conclusively against Smollet but people say he wasn't exonerated.
So nothing was proved conclusively against Trump but people say he was indeed, exonerated.

Sounds like the Obamas have been up to no good in this matter, is that ok because they are not Trump? I think this will run for a while.
Given this a JS fred i can only read and repeat the comments given out by the Chicago PD, where he wasnt exonerated.
Dont understand your post, the reports i read that Trump wasnt exonerated ?????

At the time of your post it was well written in thefist press and only questioned later when the lawyer released his press. I shall look at the times and come back.
The FBi have been investigating the Federal Crime of sending threatening letters/powder through the post, all along, so he`s still off to jail, a;most certainly for longer than he would have got without the string-pulling. Even better, though, is that the Feds are now also looking into the Foxx/obama/Harris corruption. That`s a win win!
Jussie Smollett has been ordered to pay $130,000 (£99,000) to cover the cost of the investigation into an alleged assault on him in January in Chicago.
The actor became the subject of the investigation after he was accused of staging the attack on himself.
Smollett has always said he is an innocent victim - the charges against him were dropped earlier this week.
But he has now been ordered to cover the costs of police officers, including overtime hours used on the case.
CBS journalist Charlie De Mar shared a letter from the city of Chicago to Jussie Smollett, demanding he pay $130,106.15 in the next seven days.

PMSL at all the Luvvies on here Pretending he is not a Con Man what sad individuals
Many seem to be unaware of the fact that a grand jury forwarded the charges against Smollett, not the Chicago Police Department.
The Obama connections responsible for injudicious meddling in this case have therefore made an error of monumental proportions. This will return to haunt them for sure.

we can only hope the truth comes out or it will prove how rotten america really is.
In the case of America's left at the moment, Mr Sonko, the thoughts of Voltaire come to mind. It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.
They won't care if he pays or not, they are publicly calling him out.

I think I heard that if he doesn`t pay, Chicago police can bring a civil case, which would involve all sorts of legal disclosures and evidence about the case being publicly disclosed; he really won`t want that! Yet his only alternative is to pay, bringing with it the admission of guilt. But there`s no point paying and admitting guilt, as what would he then be able to claim when the Feds get him in court for Mail crimes? That `obama was behind it, and Michelle promised me she`d get me off!`?
Three of Kim Foxx`s team, including her Ethics Officer, and her Integrity Officer resign in disgust and fear of joining her in jail!
The Nigerians now suing Smollet`s lawyers! Statement says, in effect, `we`re in full agreement with the Chicago police, Smollet planned it all, enlisted our help, then sold us, his friends, down the river in his ludicrous attempts at denying it all, after being caught rotten`.
I love watching a chap who has it all needlessly throw it all away.
Foxx ordered all documents be `sealed`, meaning nobody could ever see them again, and she and smollet would get away with it. A Judge has just most unusually, `unsealed` them; she`s off to jail, bringing michelle with her!
Judge orders a special prosecutor to investigate the case!
