Our rate of economic growth has slowed - but it is still growing and at a faster rate than the EU's.It's like inflation. A fall in the rate of inflation is taken as meaning that prices are falling when they are not- merey that the rate of year on year increase is not as great.
Inflation is through the roof, a mars bar 15 years ago cost 35p? and were larger
Today they are 70 odd pence and smaller
Inflation is being targeted in the size of the portions they sell not really the money spent, a mars bar will be 75p soon and smaller still, but its all good because inflation is "down" say the BBC
