The hardest thing about making skimmed milk is throwing the cow across the lake.

I don't drink animal milk.

If anyone has ever studied the compatibility of foods with each other when they are being digested, milk comes out one of worst to mix with other foods.
That's because it's a complete food in itself, for calves that is.

Nature never intended mature humans to exist on cows milk. And that's with regard to the stuff that comes from a healthy cow, not the drug induced milk we drink.

Milk is also high on the list of potential allergens.

Lactose free, full fat is my tipple of choice.

Proper, full-fat cows' milk here. Can't see the point of buying the skimmed or semi-skimmed stuff for the same price, and letting the dairies get their cheese and butter for free.

If you're lucky enough to be one of the 35% of the world's population who's evolved to be lactose-tolerant, you'd be mad to ignore that stroke of good fortune. If consuming milk with lactose were anything other than an improvement to your diet, then evolution would have never allowed over a third of the human population to develop a tolerance to it.
