Nowt wrong with circumcision from my experience and I wouldn't want my hood back if given a choice 
Comparing FGM to circumcision is like comparing getting your nails clipped to your fingers hacked off...

Females in middle-eastern countries (Jewish and Muslim ) are the driving force behind MGM because of the shortage of water.

I agree circumcision should be illegal if not consented to.
An ex-boyfriend had to have a circumcision as an adult for medical reasons and said the sex was not as good afterwards. Let's face it how are all the men who have been circumcised know the difference?

Unless there is a medical reason there should be no hacking away of any human parts until the human concerned gives their consent. I cannot see how it is acceptable for humans when it is illegal to dock the tails of dogs.
Babies have to go through teething, and when they grow up they will go through a lot more pain.
Get them used to it early?

Well I agree with you Leopard...but religion is a big barrier.
Years ago they cut a baby's whole winkle off! in the USA, so they changed him into a girl without telling him
he had ever been male.
It was a disaster, and in the end they did tell him, but he so confused, he had no idea what sex he was,
and took his own life in his mid twenties.
If other accidents are being made even if not quite so severe, you have a very good point Leopard.
But can Religion be beaten, hmmm?????

Tolerating child mutilation -in the name of religion or owt else- is barbarous and absolutely immoral.

Fade? There's one religion here doubling it's number every decade and no sign at all of their brainwashing diminishing after 3 generations.
