They’ve done some good stuff.
Just go through one of their playlists on YouTube. ‘Meet on the ledge’ a good one. And yes, ‘who knows where the time goes?’ is magical. |

That's funny 'cos that songs on my playlist. Sandy Denny has a nice voice and sings so sweetly and perfectly on this track.
She sang with Led Zep on a track on their iconic untitled 4th album. The track's called The Battle of Evermore |

The most beautiful song and Sandy Denny was a great loss . Her version of Whispering Grass is a delight .

They made 3 really good albums in the late 60s,possibly the last was 1970. Then Sandy Denny and Richard Thompson left and they became a competent but uninspiring,to rock fans anyway, trad folk band and are still going I believe.
Denny made a few albums after but they're not great and she died in her late twenties after falling downstairs when probably not sober. Thompson went from strength to strength artistically though not commercially and is still making albums and touring ( I saw him about 15 months ago ). |
