There some significant differences between Scotland and Catatonia, Scotland is a country in its own right and member of the union with England, Northern Ireland and Wales, Catatonia is a region of Spain.
The biggest difference between the two is on ambition and ability, Catatonia is the industrial backbone of the Spanish economy and technically ambitious compare this to the morphine style politics of the SNP, who have no drive or ambition to return Scotland back into an industrial leader, content only to keep Scotland population in their defeatist malaise and benefit dependency

My point was that the Scots didn't "surrender" (which was the thrust of the troll), it was an intelligent decision, maybe that was lost in troll. Nice to see it doesn't make much for prickly chippyness to show thought!

BTW Mac Blackford said in Westminster this week that dragging the UK out of the EU without a deal will be catastrophic for Scotland.
Said it will result in massive job losses and damage our economy possibly beyond repair.
Now cast your mind back to 2014.
Didn't the SNP want to divorce from the Union which funnily enough would have seen us also out of the EU and without a deal.
So leaving one market (the EU) is really bad for Scotland but leaving two markets (the EU and the UK) would be good.
