It's interesting that they traced all the generational links between him and royalty. But these programmes never point out that it is almost impossible not to be a descendant of Edward III.
'Danny Dyer is descended from Edward III !' sounds improbable and amazing, but so is the narrator himself, so is the guy holding the camera, and virtually everyone watching the show.
But he's not just any old descendant....he's a direct descendant 
If we're all descended from royalty are we all shape shifting reptiles then? Makes sense.

Danny Dyer is not some 17th cousin 26 times removed from Royalty, he is a linear, direct descendant from the man himself, the fella commands new found respect, I don't see why he shouldn't be knighted by the Queen immediately IMO.

If someone lived in the 1300s then, in 2019, they either have hundreds of millions of descendants or they have none.
They found the 30 or so individual people linking Danny to Edward III through the generations.
That you don't know all the names of the men and women in the line from Edward III to you doesn't mean you are not a direct descendant.

I've seen/heard the trailer for this and that was enough to ensure I see no more.
I think Danny Dyer was in on the joke tbh, a better actor then given credit for, that clip had me in stiches, you could see he was trying not to laugh as was the American women telling him he was related to not only a king, but a saint.
