Twenty years ago I pulled out of a side road in front of a lorry.  I was very lucky to be uninjured.  My fault entirely.

I was charged and convicted of careless driving.  I got points on my licence and a very big fine.

I am sure a similar fate awaits the Prince. Mischief

Driving a high performance car like that at 97 ?? And a car like that wouldn't roll over at low speed. For his own safety and especially other road users - time to take a taxi !

Yes, but he must have pulled out and not seen it. Latest news is "Barrister Roy Warne said Prince Philip, 97, told police he had been 'dazzled by the sun'

They're making a lot about the Greek driving Obama about.

I bet Obama made sure it was only a short trip insides the walls of Windsor castle and not out on the highway.

Its the responsibility of those entering or exiting junctions to make sure its safe to do so.
As long as the other driver wasnt speeding this looks cut and dried to work out blame imo

Nobody should be allowed to drive at 97.

Take out the royal factor and a headline of crash with one driver aged 97 and everybody would have a good idea who was at fault.

God willing prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth are immortal

Who's going to go first? Him or her? Might be handy if they pop off together and we can have just one joint funeral. Think of the saving to the taxpayer.

Council acted quickly cut the speed limit on the road to 50 mph.

Must have been the fault of the other car then.
