I was once in a garage forecourt when he drove in.
He stops in front of a shocked member of staff leans in the window and says "Phillip?",
"Not quite, just half a tank of unleaded"

at the very least sounds like driving without due care and attention - hope the driver of the other care is OK. took over 3 hours for the story to emerge - obviously attempts to squash the story failed

You  would think that Prince Phillip had been killed ... reading the ARCHBISHOP of YORK's tweet ...

John Sentamu

@JohnSentamu

Almighty God, the Fountain of all Goodness,We humbly beseech thee to bless Philip Duke of Edinburgh:Endue him with thy Holy Spirit; enrich him with thy Heavenly Grace; prosper him with all happiness; and bring him to thine everlasting kingdom, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

To be fair, maybe god has a twitter account and it's a more direct way of praying.

If only he'd open a ticketed online help desk with feedback as to how our prayer requests are professing, THAT would be progress.

That actually made me laugh.

I didn't want it to, but it did. Laugh

Not only that but it's very similar to the punchline of a joke about a custom made condom.
It was folded up on the buyers shoulder, with the words "condom, and custom made, mega size" all showing.
He went into the butchers on the way home from collecting it, pointed at the steak and said,
"pound o' fillet"
Butcher looks at him and his parcel and says
"pound you don't!"

i think in law the queen owns all roads,so in law PRINCE PHILIP would in theory be driving on his own property.

Prince Philip and the driver of the Kia people carrier were breath tested and provided negative readings.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said: "The male driver of the Land Rover was uninjured.

"The female driver of the Kia suffered cuts while the female passenger sustained an arm injury, both requiring hospital treatment.

"We can confirm both casualties from the Kia have been treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn and have since been discharged.

He should get done for that. People in the other car could have been killed. At 97 he shouldn`t be driving on the Queen`s highway.
