Might focus a few minds from the 'let's just get on with it' brigade. So you would do away with the anonimity of a democratic vote ?

It was tongue in cheek but you knew that I recon.

Just watching it this morning.
Dianne Abbott thinks labour don’t have red lines.
Unbelievable.

When: 18 Jan 19 08:25
There are accusations from audience members that Fiona Bruce ridiculed Abbott in a 10 minute pre-show 'chat' with the audience. Then other members of the audience also tweeted similarly. Oakshott spoke untruths about polls and Bruce backed her up. Derby was near to 50/50 in both brexit and GE- from last night you would think it was a slandslide for brexit and Tories. Shocking from the BBC.

but racing what is equally true is the accusations by the tory nutters that the bbc is some kind of left wing subversive organization , yes it is politically correct but not left wing at all
By:

The accusations are there. Even if you take away claims of bias- we are left with the claims of what took place last night in the pre-show. If this does not concern you at all then we are in (or at least you are in) a bad place indeed.

Someone needs to have a word with Diane Abbott.

Really.

I don't think she is very well.

Haven’t seen the claims.
I can assure you I am not in a bad place.
As I stated pre-show DA does not look well and it is cruel for her to be on the show.
Believe it or not I used to quite like her and though she talked some sense but the best thing she can do now is to stand down on the basis of poor health.
Anxious, yes I can take your point to a certain extent ... more pc than left wing, but not in anyone’s delusional mind can they be described as right wing.

but last night was a poor effort by bbc to be neutral.

I've only just watched this.
Anyone who thinks Abbott is an asset to Labour is in need of help.
Defends Jeremy for not talking to May then says we're willing to talk.
No wonder the audience laughed.

The BBC is now and has always been a right-wing organ.
It has been proven, I have posted LOADS of proof, but it always gets removed.... funny that.

The idea that it gets the banner of a left wing organisation stems from a meeting in 1966 at which only 2 people were in attendance.
The perpetuation of this leftie thing, is something the BBC LOVES. It is and has always been run by Conservatives. Virtually ALL of the political reporting is done by people with affiliation to the Party and there is no doubt.

The thing is that on here if you say something often enough it feels true to those who want it to be, a majority on this poxy forum.

The one thing the BBC is, which is reprehensible and wrong, imo, is 'PC'. It has a diversity policy that will eventually ruin the corporation, it has killed sport and a good deal of entertainment, and wastes money. Clarkson was right, but it doesn't make it left-wing. The BBC is not now, nor has it ever been Left-wing.
It is discriminatory, uses positive discrimination to a fault and is pretty much unfit for purpose instead of being the world's foremost broadcaster.

Conflation is the bedrock of most of the garbage posted on a daily basis by so many people for whom politics is their world. Fortunately despite their best efforts, there world isn't as densely (pun intended) populated as they think.

So the fact that last year there were twice as many remainers on the panel than leavers was just a coincidence?

Not all loony lefties are obsessed with political correctness, but everyone obsessed with political correctness seems to be a loony lefty.

Of course the BBC is left wing. It might not have been years ago, but it definitely is now.

Everything the left loves now is what the BBC stand for. They aren't hard left but left of centre they certainly are, by a long way.
People who are hard left can't see that though, they consider people in Labour who oppose Corbyn to be right wing, says it all.
