I'm not into musicals at all and don't even know the story of Les Miserables or how it ends but I must say I'm very much enjoying the BBC series.

Outstanding acting from the lead characters - I'd recommend catching the first three episodes on iPlayer if you haven't seen them already.

Brilliant series. The last ten minutes of episode 1 are the best thing I've seen on TV since Breaking Bad.

Go see the musical and also the film (which I was prepared to be disappointed with, but wasn't in the slightest), which, IMO are way better than the TV series, which I gave up on early in episode 2

The music / songs just add a different (Better) dynamic to it for me

The show is brilliant.

Should be compulsory for anyone over 25.

Possibly the best book I have ever read, certainly in the top 3. I have read War and Peace and thought it did not compare.

Managed to watch only a few minutes on Sunday but was gripped immediately. Looking forward to watch this on I Player.

The 1935 film version starring Fredrick March, Charles Laughton, etc. was a very good watch, as was the French mini tv series starring Gerard Depardieu but the current one looks the best adaptation so far, after half way through.
