Clarkson can't get over the fact that he was sacked by the BBC :
. https://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/mar/25/jeremy-clarkson-police-investigation-bbc-report-top-gear Jeremy Clarkson could face a police investigation into the unprovoked attack that left a colleague bleeding and cost the Top Gear presenter his job, bringing an end to a BBC career that spanned four decades. The BBC director general, Tony Hall, said “with great regret” he decided not to renew Clarkson’s contract, saying the presenter had “crossed a line” which left him with no alternative. North Yorkshire police have requested a copy of the BBC report that found Clarkson had been responsible for an “unprovoked physical and verbal attack” on Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon, who sought hospital treatment after the attack. An internal inquiry overseen by BBC Scotland boss Ken MacQuarrie concluded that Tymon was struck by Clarkson during an unprovoked 30-second physical attack “resulting in swelling and bleeding to his lip”. Tymon, who was subjected to a sustained verbal abuse by the presenter, was left “shocked and distressed by the incident” and “drove to a nearby A&E department for examination”. Hall said Clarkson had crossed a line by subjecting an “innocent party [to] a physical altercation accompanied by sustained and prolonged verbal abuse of an extreme nature”. The North Yorkshire force said it was “liaising with the BBC regarding the alleged incident in North Yorkshire involving Jeremy Clarkson |

He's got a point, though it's not just the BBC.
Any TV drama, you just know who the bad guy (using that word appropriately) is after the first episode.....unless you are otherwise distracted by the number of women / ethnic minority / 'victimhood claimers' there are in positions of authority (there's a black Chief of Police in 19th Century Paris airing right now - who knew?!) Comedy shows? Forget subverting expectation for comic effect. "Isn't Trump awful......isn't Brexit awful....etc" and that'll pretty much get you the gig. 'The Last Leg' came in swinging as an edgy Friday Night 'must see' and a good sntidote to the 'well past it's sell-by date HIGNFY'. Now it's lazy cliched and dull. This sin't an appeal for a return of the Black and White Minstrel Show and disembowelment for the new female Doctor Who, but FFS do they have to be so bl00dy obvious and right-on? |
By:
how many females replaced him on top gear ?

He's a slob of a man that needs a good slap, arrogant but knows absolutely fcuk all.
By:
As others have mentioned, he's part of a cosy little establishment set but has made a fortune pretending to be one of us. Also did a bit of cheerleading for the remain camp.
By:
Like him or not, I think everything he says about the BBC is correct, don't shoot the messenger.
By:
Don't always agree with Clarkson but he's totally correct. As is Hanx.
I mean wasn't there an announcement a while back that they are going to deliberately force inclusion of transgender people into plotlines just for the sake of doing it? What is that other than PC social engineering? They are OBSESSED with "diversity" and its like and the entire political philosophy backing it. As a BBC guy said a couple years ago, I posted the link, the BBC would never commission Monty Python as it's all educated white men and not diverse enough. Maybe that's why we don't get the likes of Armstrong and Miller and Mitchell and Webb anymore. Even The Fast Show, would that be made now by the BBC? Maybe if was forced to include Kumar on it to make unfunny sketches about how remoaners are nazis.. |
By:
why do people confuse agreeing with somebody and them being correct?
By:
sigh...
By:
I do not even know why he's on tv...he's not photogenic, and past it. Maybe trying to resuscitate his flagging media popularity. How he got to present Want To Be A Millionaire is beyond my comprehension.
Another one is the presenter on Good Morning Britain, a former editor of The Mirror. And they loathe each other to the core, I believe - I wonder why. |

Clarkson has got a presence that draws your attention.
He's worth listening to, and he usually says something provocative into the bargain. I'm not interested in tittle-tattle about celebrities, people who follow stuff like that are usually pretty inadequate. Nice article about the BBC from Clarkson, he hit the nail right on the head. Why should we be made to pay for leftie propaganda and to promote PR bigotry? |

Irony at it's best.

what ever you do - you must never challenge their progressive narrative - me too - and lives matter - owen jones is wonderful and join mummys men tum

By:
Clarkson has his niche and can talk bluntly on subjects without ruining what's left of his career. Sadly, most people in tv who may agree with what Clarkson said, cannot say it.
By:
Most people in TV or politics, just have to suck it and keep their opinions on certain subjects to themselves, or lie about what their opinions are.
By:
Indeed Aka, does dave believe donny to be correct?
![]() ![]() (there has to be a first for everything I suppose but it's not today). |
By:
Why should Clarkson be photogenic to be on TV? He's a bit of a boer but on this he is without question correct.
Try saying a woman shouldn't be on TV because they aren't attractive, see how the SWJs will go after you! |
By:
Similarly, those who disagree with him cannot say it in public either.
Honestly, what does Clarkson bring to tv or media? For instance, on Topgear, clowning about with his two other stooges and making derogatory and disrespectful comments about vehicles probably bought by the common folks cannot be deemed as entertainment, surely. The photogenic bit was an aside; the childish clowning (on Topgear) trying to be funny when clearly was not was akin to a comedian not drawing a laughter from the audience. |
By:
He got lucky and was popular. Not my cup of tea, but he's watchable and it's a good thing that some people can talk bluntly and offer opinions that others simply can't.
By:
I didn't like Top Gear but the ratings tell a story that many others did.
They employed the supermodel chiseled features of Chris Evans after he left and ratings collapsed, proving being really really ridiculously good looking doesn't help! |
By:
Absolutely correct Jeremy Clarkson
Clarkson loved to push limits but it was in the cause of humour and cars. He is unique and unforgettable. More than I can say about the BBC at the moment(except maybe BBC4) |
By:
Who would you rather go down the pub with and have a pint and a game of darts? ... Chris Evans, Jeremy Corbyn, Theresa May, or Jeremy Clarkson? He doesn't seem too bad really, thinking about it.
By:
To much political correctness, too many women at the BBC, I heartily concur with that.
By:
I'd go to the pub with Corbyn if I had a full bladder and I could 'refill' his pint when he popped to the toilet
